We are excited to announce that TEAL has entered its 15th state in the nation: California!  Three new properties, including District at Warner Center- North and South Towers in Woodland Hills developed by Kaplan, and a multifamily project developed by StreetLights Residential, will include a TEAL System to deliver domestic hot water to future residents. All three projects expect to break ground in 2022.

Over the past 17 years, TEAL has been expanding its geographic footprint across the United States, with over 350 systems under TEAL management, serving 80,000+ units nationwide. As we continue to expand our portfolio into the West Coast, TEAL looks forward to offering our clients an even more robust technology platform that incorporates the latest AI and machine learning capability to maximize operational efficiency and provide real-time data tracking tons of carbon offset by utilizing TEAL. “We’ve been a proponent of utilizing TEAL in our recent developments and have adopted TEAL in our strategy for future developments.

“Aside from the benefit of eliminating individual unit water heaters, which is a recurring maintenance liability, our residents get the benefit of an uninterrupted hot water supply and lower utility bills,”

— Jeff Heinen, Senior Vice President of Construction StreetLights Residential.

We are excited to add the Golden State to the growing TEAL Network and look forward to watching each of these projects as they progress toward completion. In addition to the three projects listed above, there are several other California developments in the pipeline — these projects will be announced shortly, so please stay tuned. We are proud to be able to turn the State of California TEAL on our portfolio map and look forward to announcing more new Western states in the near future!
